In 2006, Colony Capital merged Raffles International with Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, creating a new company called Fairmont Raffles Hotels International. In 2016, AccorHotels acquired Fairmont Raffles Hotels International, bringing Swissôtel under its umbrella.
