Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College (SOMC) is a prestigious public medical school located in Sylhet, Bangladesh. It is named after General Muhammad Ataul Gani Osmani, the commander-in-chief of the Bangladesh Liberation War. The college is affiliated with Sylhet Medical University and offers undergraduate and postgraduate medical education.

Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College was established in 1962 as the second medical college in East Pakistan, now Bangladesh. Initially, it was known as Sylhet Medical College. The college was renamed in 1986 to honor General MAG Osmani, a key figure in the country's independence movement.

The college campus is located in the heart of Sylhet city, covering an area of approximately 206 acres. The campus includes academic buildings, a library, hostels, and a hospital. The college hospital, known as Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital, is a tertiary care hospital providing a wide range of medical services to the region.

The college offers a five-year Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program, followed by a one-year compulsory internship. The curriculum is designed to provide comprehensive medical education and training, integrating both theoretical and practical aspects of medicine.
