Symclosene

Symclosene is a chemical compound used primarily as a disinfectant. It is also known by its trade name, Trichloroisocyanuric acid, and is commonly used in swimming pools to kill bacteria and other microbes.

Symclosene is a white, crystalline powder with a strong chlorine odor. It is highly soluble in water and decomposes in heat to release chlorine gas. The chemical formula for symclosene is C3Cl3N3O3.

The primary use of symclosene is as a disinfectant. It is commonly used in swimming pools and hot tubs to kill bacteria and other microbes. It is also used in industrial settings for the disinfection of water, and in some cases, it can be used as a bleaching agent.
