The Taedonggang Brewing Company is a renowned brewery located in Pyongyang, the capital city of North Korea. It is named after the Taedong River, which runs through the heart of the city. The company is known for producing a range of beers, which are popular both domestically and internationally.

The Taedonggang Brewing Company was established in 2002, following the purchase of a defunct brewery in Ushers of Trowbridge, United Kingdom. The North Korean government bought the equipment and transported it to Pyongyang, where it was reassembled and began production.

The Taedonggang Brewing Company produces a variety of beers, each identified by a number. The most popular among these is Taedonggang Beer No. 2, which is a rice beer. Other products include Taedonggang Beer No. 1, a lager, and Taedonggang Beer No. 7, a black beer.

Taedonggang beers are primarily sold in North Korea, but they have also gained international recognition. The beers are available in some restaurants in South Korea and China, and have been praised for their quality and taste.
