Takeshi Kaga
Takeshi Kaga (鹿賀 丈史, Kaga Takeshi, born October 12, 1950) is a Japanese actor and singer best known for his role as the host of the Japanese television show Iron Chef. He was born in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan.

Kaga began his career in the entertainment industry as a member of the Shiki Theatre Company, one of Japan's leading theatre companies. He gained recognition for his performances in various musicals and stage productions, including roles in Les Misérables, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Phantom of the Opera. His powerful voice and charismatic stage presence made him a prominent figure in Japanese theatre.
Iron Chef[edit | edit source]
Takeshi Kaga is perhaps best known internationally for his role as the host of the Japanese cooking show Iron Chef, which aired from 1993 to 1999. On the show, he portrayed the eccentric and flamboyant Chairman Kaga, who presided over culinary battles between the show's resident chefs and challengers from around the world. His dramatic flair and memorable catchphrases, such as "Allez cuisine!" became iconic elements of the show.
