Tamanduateí (CPTM)
Tamanduateí (CPTM) is a railway station located in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. It is part of the CPTM network, a metropolitan train system serving the Greater São Paulo area. The station is named after the Tamanduateí River, which runs nearby.

The Tamanduateí station was inaugurated on September 1, 2000, as part of the expansion of the CPTM network. It was designed to serve as a hub for the Line 10-Turquoise and Line 2-Green of the São Paulo Metro, facilitating the movement of passengers between different parts of the city.
Structure[edit | edit source]
The station has a modern design, with a large central hall and platforms on either side. It is fully accessible, with ramps and elevators for people with reduced mobility. The station also features a number of amenities, including ticket offices, restrooms, and a small shopping area.
Services[edit | edit source]
Tamanduateí station offers regular services on Line 10-Turquoise, with trains running to Brás and Rio Grande da Serra. It also provides a connection to Line 2-Green of the São Paulo Metro, which runs to Vila Prudente and Vila Madalena.
Surrounding Area[edit | edit source]
The station is located in a busy area of São Paulo, close to the Tamanduateí River. Nearby attractions include the Parque Dom Pedro II, a large urban park, and the Mercado Municipal de São Paulo, a popular market selling a wide range of goods.
