Tehran
Tehran is the capital city of Iran, and one of the largest cities in the Middle East. It is also the most populous city in Iran, and the second largest metropolitan area in the Middle East.

Tehran's history dates back to approximately 6,000 BC, and it has been the capital of Iran since 1796. The city has a rich history, with many historical monuments and sites, such as the Golestan Palace, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Tehran is located in the north of Iran, at the foot of the Alborz mountain range. The city has a varied topography, with mountains to the north and desert to the south.
