Terry Dischinger
Terry Dischinger (born November 21, 1940) is a former American basketball player and dentist. He played college basketball for the Purdue Boilermakers, where he was a three-time All-American. Dischinger was selected by the Chicago Zephyrs in the first round of the 1962 NBA Draft and went on to have a successful career in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was named the NBA Rookie of the Year in 1963 and was a three-time NBA All-Star. After his basketball career, Dischinger pursued a career in dentistry.

Terry Dischinger was born in Terre Haute, Indiana. He attended Garfield High School, where he excelled in basketball. Dischinger's outstanding high school performance led him to Purdue University, where he played for the Boilermakers from 1958 to 1962. During his time at Purdue, he was recognized as one of the top players in the country, earning All-American honors in each of his three varsity seasons. Dischinger was known for his scoring ability, rebounding, and versatility on the court.
