The Hind's Head[edit | edit source]

The Hind's Head is a renowned British gastropub located in the village of Bray, Berkshire, England. It is owned by the celebrated chef Heston Blumenthal, who also owns the three-Michelin-starred restaurant, The Fat Duck, in the same village.

History[edit | edit source]

The Hind's Head building dates back to the 15th century and has served as a hunting lodge and a coaching inn before becoming a pub. It was purchased by Heston Blumenthal in 2004, who transformed it into a gastropub, serving traditional British cuisine with a modern twist.

Cuisine[edit | edit source]

The Hind's Head offers a variety of dishes that reflect the rich culinary heritage of Britain. The menu changes regularly, but some of the signature dishes include the Scotch Egg, the Quaking Pudding, and the Triple Cooked Chips. The pub also offers a selection of British ales and spirits.

Awards and Recognition[edit | edit source]

The Hind's Head has received numerous awards and accolades for its exceptional food and service. In 2005, it was awarded a Michelin star, which it has retained ever since. It has also been named the Best Pub in the UK by the Good Pub Guide in 2011 and 2014.
