The film is based on the autobiographical book Man Made: A Memoir of My Body by Ken Baker. The film stars Johnny Simmons, Brittany Snow, Maria Bello, Jane Lynch, Beck Bennett, Kumail Nanjiani, and J.K. Simmons.
