The Sun Also Rises is a 1957 American film adaptation of Ernest Hemingway's 1926 novel of the same name. The film was directed by Henry King and produced by Darryl F. Zanuck. The screenplay was written by Peter Viertel.

The film follows a group of expatriates from the United States and United Kingdom who travel from Paris to Pamplona to watch the running of the bulls and the bullfighting during the Festival of San Fermín. The story centers on the disillusionment and angst of the post-World War I generation, often referred to as the Lost Generation.
