Theodore DeWeese is an American radiation oncologist and academic administrator. He is currently serving as the Vice Dean for Clinical Affairs and President of the Johns Hopkins Clinical Practice Association at Johns Hopkins University.
Education and Early Career[edit | edit source]
DeWeese completed his undergraduate education at Washington University in St. Louis and earned his medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He completed his residency in radiation oncology at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Professional Career[edit | edit source]
DeWeese joined the faculty at Johns Hopkins University in 1995. He has held various leadership positions within the institution, including Director of the Department of Radiation Oncology and Molecular Radiation Sciences. His research focuses on the molecular mechanisms of radiation response and the development of novel therapeutic strategies for cancer treatment.

DeWeese's research has significantly contributed to the understanding of how cancer cells respond to radiation therapy.
