Fargo Mayor Tim Mahoney

Tim Mahoney is an American politician who has served as the Mayor of Fargo, North Dakota since 2015. He is a member of the Democratic-NPL Party.

Early Life and Education[edit | edit source]

Tim Mahoney was born in Fargo, North Dakota. He attended North Dakota State University where he earned his undergraduate degree. He later pursued a medical degree from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences.

Medical Career[edit | edit source]

Before entering politics, Mahoney had a successful career as a surgeon. He worked at several hospitals in the Fargo area and was well-regarded in the medical community.

Political Career[edit | edit source]

Mahoney began his political career as a member of the Fargo City Commission. He was first elected to the commission in 2005. During his time on the commission, he focused on issues such as urban development, public health, and infrastructure.

In 2015, Mahoney was elected as the Mayor of Fargo. As mayor, he has worked on various initiatives including flood protection, economic development, and improving public safety. He has been re-elected multiple times and continues to serve in this role.

Tim Mahoney is married and has children. He is known for his involvement in community activities and various local organizations.
