Time Bandits is a 1981 British fantasy film directed by Terry Gilliam and co-written by Gilliam and Michael Palin. The film features a young boy named Kevin, who joins a group of six dwarfs on a time-traveling adventure to steal treasures from various historical figures.

The story follows Kevin, an 11-year-old boy with a vivid imagination and a passion for history. One night, Kevin is unexpectedly visited by a group of six dwarfs: Randall, Fidgit, Strutter, Og, Wally, and Vermin. The dwarfs have stolen a map from the Supreme Being that shows holes in the fabric of time, allowing them to travel through different historical periods and steal treasures.
Kevin and the dwarfs embark on a series of adventures, encountering various historical and mythical figures, including Napoleon Bonaparte, Robin Hood, King Agamemnon, and others. They also face the evil sorcerer, Evil Genius, who seeks to obtain the map for his own nefarious purposes.
