Tomáš Drucker (born 20 July 1978) is a Slovak politician and former government official. He served as the Minister of Health from 23 March 2016 to 17 April 2018 and briefly as the Minister of the Interior from 26 March 2018 to 17 April 2018.

Early Life and Education[edit | edit source]

Tomáš Drucker was born on 20 July 1978 in Bratislava, which was then part of Czechoslovakia. He graduated from the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava with a degree in engineering.

Career[edit | edit source]

Minister of Health[edit | edit source]

Drucker was appointed as the Minister of Health on 23 March 2016 under the government of Prime Minister Robert Fico. During his tenure, he focused on improving the healthcare system in Slovakia, addressing issues such as hospital debt and the availability of medical services.

Minister of the Interior[edit | edit source]

On 26 March 2018, Drucker was appointed as the Minister of the Interior by Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini. His term was short-lived, as he resigned on 17 April 2018, citing personal reasons and the inability to fulfill his duties effectively in the political climate at the time.

Personal Life[edit | edit source]

Drucker is married and has children. He is known for his independent stance in politics and has not been affiliated with any political party.
