Thomas H. Cahill

Tom Cahill was a professional baseball player who played as an outfielder in the late 19th century. He was born on May 1, 1868, in New York City, New York, and died on September 15, 1894, in New York City, New York.

Career[edit | edit source]

Cahill began his professional baseball career in the minor leagues before making his debut in Major League Baseball (MLB) with the Louisville Colonels of the American Association on April 17, 1891. He played for the Colonels during the 1891 season and appeared in a total of 20 games. During his brief MLB career, Cahill had a batting average of .213, with 16 hits in 75 at-bats.

After his stint with the Louisville Colonels, Cahill continued to play in the minor leagues, where he spent the majority of his professional career. He played for various teams, including the Rochester Broncos and the Buffalo Bisons.

Tom Cahill's life was tragically cut short when he died at the age of 26. The cause of his death is not well-documented, but it is known that he passed away in his hometown of New York City.
