Tom Horton is a fictional character from the American soap opera Days of Our Lives, which airs on the NBC network. The character was created by Ted Corday and Betty Corday, and he was one of the original characters when the show premiered on November 8, 1965. Tom Horton was portrayed by actor Macdonald Carey until his death in 1994.
