Marlena Evans is a fictional character from the American soap opera Days of Our Lives on the NBC network. The character has been portrayed by actress Deidre Hall since 1976, with a few breaks in between. Marlena is a prominent psychiatrist in the fictional town of Salem.

Marlena was introduced as a psychiatrist who quickly became a central figure in the lives of many Salem residents. She has been involved in numerous high-profile storylines, including demonic possession, kidnapping, and amnesia.

Marlena has been married multiple times. Her first marriage was to Don Craig, with whom she had a son, DJ, who tragically died of SIDS. She later married Roman Brady, and they had twins, Sami and Eric. After Roman was presumed dead, Marlena married John Black, with whom she has a daughter, Belle Black.
