The Toronto is a classic cocktail that originated in Canada. It is a sophisticated blend of Canadian whisky, Fernet-Branca, simple syrup, and Angostura bitters. The drink is typically garnished with a twist of orange peel.

The Toronto cocktail is believed to have been created in the early 20th century, during the Prohibition era in the United States.
