Touro

Touro is a private, not-for-profit institution of higher and professional education, in service to the Jewish community and society as a whole. The system includes non-profit institutions of higher and professional education, Touro College and University System, and Touro University Worldwide, as well as New York Medical College, Touro Infirmary, and a network of over 70 U.S. and international campuses, hospitals, and community-based health-care institutions.

Touro was established in 1970 with the mission to perpetuate and enrich the Jewish heritage, to support Jewish continuity, as well as to serve the general community in keeping with the historic Jewish commitment to intellectual inquiry, the transmission of knowledge, social justice, and service to society.

Institutions[edit | edit source]

Touro's institutions include Touro College, Touro University California, Touro University Nevada, Touro University Worldwide, New York Medical College, and Touro Infirmary.

Programs[edit | edit source]

Touro offers a wide range of programs in a variety of fields, including health sciences, law, business, education, social work, Jewish studies, technology, and more.
