Tuffy Stone is a renowned American chef, television personality, and competition barbecue cook. He is best known for his appearances on the reality television show Destination America's BBQ Pitmasters. Stone is also the co-owner and pitmaster of the award-winning Q Barbeque restaurants located in Richmond, Virginia.

Tuffy Stone was born and raised in Virginia. He started his culinary journey at an early age, working in his father's restaurant. He later attended Virginia Tech, where he studied to become a French chef. After graduating, Stone worked in several high-end restaurants before deciding to pursue his passion for barbecue.

In 2004, Stone and his wife, Leslie, opened their first Q Barbeque restaurant. The restaurant quickly gained popularity for its unique blend of traditional and innovative barbecue techniques. Today, Q Barbeque has multiple locations across Virginia and has won numerous awards for its exceptional food and service.

In addition to his restaurant business, Stone is also a highly successful competition barbecue cook. He is the head cook of the Cool Smoke team, which has won numerous state, regional, and national barbecue championships. Stone's team is the only one to have won the prestigious Jack Daniel's World Championship Invitational Barbecue twice.
