Type 7103 DSRV
Type 7103 DSRV is a type of Deep Submergence Rescue Vehicle (DSRV) developed by the People's Republic of China. It is designed for deep-sea rescue operations and is capable of reaching depths of up to 3,500 meters.
Design and Development[edit | edit source]
The Type 7103 DSRV was developed by the China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC) as part of China's efforts to enhance its deep-sea rescue capabilities. The vehicle is equipped with advanced sonar systems and robotic arms to assist in rescue operations. It also features a pressurized rescue module that can accommodate up to 18 people.
Operational History[edit | edit source]
The Type 7103 DSRV entered service with the People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) in 2018. Since then, it has been involved in several deep-sea rescue exercises, demonstrating its capabilities in challenging underwater conditions.
