Ujda Chaman
Ujda Chaman is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language comedy-drama film directed by Abhishek Pathak. The film is a remake of the 2017 Kannada movie Ondu Motteya Kathe. It stars Sunny Singh in the lead role, along with Maanvi Gagroo, Karishma Sharma, Aishwarya Sakhuja, and Saurabh Shukla in supporting roles.

The story revolves around Chaman Kohli, a 30-year-old Hindi lecturer who suffers from premature balding. His baldness becomes a significant obstacle in his quest for a suitable bride. The film explores the societal pressures and personal insecurities associated with physical appearance, particularly in the context of arranged marriages in India.
Chaman's parents are desperate to find him a bride before he turns 31, as they believe it will become increasingly difficult afterward. Despite numerous rejections and humiliations, Chaman remains hopeful. His life takes a turn when he meets Apsara, a confident and overweight woman who faces her own set of societal judgments. The film delves into their evolving relationship and the acceptance of self and others.
