Bala is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language comedy film directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Maddock Films. Plot[edit | edit source]
The story revolves around Balmukund "Bala" Shukla (Ayushmann Khurrana), a young man from Kanpur who suffers from premature balding. His childhood friend, Latika Trivedi (Bhumi Pednekar), who has faced discrimination due to her dark skin, becomes an important part of his journey.
Bala tries various methods to regrow his hair, including home remedies, wigs, and hair transplants, but nothing seems to work. He eventually meets Pari Mishra (Yami Gautam), a beautiful model who is unaware of his baldness.
