- Union Springs is a city located in the southeastern region of the U.S. state of Alabama. It is the county seat of Bullock County and is known for its historic sites and bird dog field trials. The city is part of the Montgomery Metropolitan Statistical Area.

- Union Springs was first settled by white settlers in 1835. The city was incorporated on January 13, 1844. The city's name is derived from the numerous springs that are found in the area.
Geography[edit | edit source]
- Union Springs is located at 32°8′24″N 85°42′46″W. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 6.7 square miles, all land.
Demographics[edit | edit source]
- As of the 2010 census, there were 3,980 people, 1,517 households, and 1,016 families residing in the city. The racial makeup of the city was 66.6% Black or African American, 31.8% White, 0.3% Native American, and 0.9% from two or more races.
