University for Development Studies
University for Development Studies (UDS) is a public university located in the Northern Region of Ghana. It was established in 1992 with the core mandate to provide higher education, undertake research, disseminate knowledge, and foster relationships with outside persons and bodies. The university is unique in its commitment to solving the developmental challenges of the communities within its catchment area, employing a practical and needs-based approach in its teaching and research activities.
