University of Sassari

The University of Sassari (Università degli Studi di Sassari) is a public university located in Sassari, a city on the island of Sardinia, Italy. Founded in 1562 by the Spanish ruler Philip II, it is one of the oldest universities in Italy and serves as a major center for higher education and research in the region.
