The University of Seychelles (Lua error: bad argument #1 to 'gsub' (string is not UTF-8). ) is a public university located in the Seychelles. It was established in 2009 and is the first university in the country, providing higher education opportunities to the local population and international students.

The University of Seychelles was officially inaugurated on 17 September 2009. The establishment of the university was a significant milestone in the educational development of the Seychelles, aiming to reduce the need for Seychellois students to study abroad. The university was created with the support of the government and various international partners.
Campuses[edit | edit source]
The University of Seychelles operates from three main campuses:
- Anse Royale Campus: This is the main campus, located in the district of Anse Royale. It houses the majority of the university's faculties and administrative offices.
- Mont Fleuri Campus: Situated in the capital city of Victoria, this campus focuses on business and law programs.
- Ma Joie Campus: This campus is dedicated to the School of Education and is located in the district of Mahe.
