Upton Cross
Upton Cross is a small village located in the civil parish of Linkinhorne, in the county of Cornwall, England. It is situated in the eastern part of the county, approximately 4 miles (6.4 km) southwest of the town of Callington and 7 miles (11 km) north of Liskeard.

Upton Cross has a rich history that dates back to the Middle Ages. The village was originally part of the manor of Rillaton and was mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086. The name 'Upton Cross' is believed to have been derived from the old English words 'upp' and 'tun', meaning 'higher farm', and 'cross', referring to a crossroads or a cross marker.

Upton Cross is located in a rural area of Cornwall, surrounded by farmland and moorland. The village is situated near the eastern edge of Bodmin Moor, a granite moorland in northeastern Cornwall. The River Lynher, a tributary of the River Tamar, flows near the village.

One of the notable landmarks in Upton Cross is the Sterts Theatre, an open-air amphitheatre that hosts a variety of performances throughout the year. The village is also home to the Upton Cross Primary School, which serves the local community.
