History

Voss was established in 2000 by two childhood friends, Ole Christian Sandberg and Christopher Harlem. The pair sought to create a bottled water brand that was distinctly Norwegian, capturing the country's pristine natural environment. The brand quickly gained recognition for its distinctive cylindrical glass bottle, which was designed by Neil Kraft, a former creative director at Calvin Klein.

Voss water is sourced from an artesian well in the village of Vatnestrøm in Iveland municipality, Aust-Agder county.
