Vsevolod Vyacheslavovich Ivanov (1895-1963) was a prominent Soviet writer, playwright, and translator. He is known for his contributions to Russian literature during the early 20th century.

Vsevolod Ivanov was born on February 12, 1895, in Lebyazhye, Russia. He studied at the Petrograd University and later at the Institute of Red Professors in Moscow.
Career[edit | edit source]
Ivanov began his literary career as a poet and translator. He gained recognition for his translations of works by foreign authors into Russian. Ivanov's writing often reflected the social and political climate of the Soviet Union.
Notable Works[edit | edit source]
One of Ivanov's most famous works is the novel Armoured Train 14-69, which depicts the Russian Civil War. He also wrote plays such as The Armored Train 14-69 and The Fervent Heart.
