Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) is a state agency of Washington, headquartered in Olympia, Washington. It is responsible for administering social services and programs for the welfare of the public. The department's mission is to improve the safety, health, and resilience of individuals and communities in Washington state by providing support and services to some of the most vulnerable and marginalized populations, including children, the elderly, and those living with disabilities.
