Washington is a state located in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. It is bordered by Oregon to the south, Idaho to the east, and the Canadian province of British Columbia to the north. The state's western coastline is along the Pacific Ocean. The state capital is Olympia, while the largest city is Seattle.
