Weston, Missouri
Weston, Missouri is a small city located in Platte County, Missouri. It is part of the Kansas City metropolitan area and is known for its historic buildings, wineries, and tobacco farms.

Weston was founded in 1837 by the American Fur Company and quickly became a bustling port on the Missouri River. The city's economy was initially driven by the fur trade, but it soon diversified into other industries such as hemp production and tobacco farming. During the mid-19th century, Weston was one of the largest ports on the Missouri River, second only to St. Louis.

Today, Weston's economy is primarily based on tourism, agriculture, and local businesses. The city is home to several wineries, including the Pirtle Winery and the Weston Brewing Company, which are popular tourist destinations.
