From WikiMD's Wellness Encyclopedia

WingStreet is a subsidiary of Yum! Brands, Inc., the world's largest restaurant company. As of 2008, WingStreet provided services through more than 4,000 restaurants worldwide. WingStreet's primary product is chicken wings, which are offered in a variety of styles and flavors.

History[edit | edit source]

WingStreet was founded in 2003 as a subsidiary of Pizza Hut, which is itself a subsidiary of Yum! Brands. The brand was created to compete in the growing market for delivery and carry-out chicken wings. WingStreet's first locations were co-located with Pizza Hut restaurants, and the two brands have continued to share locations in many areas.

Products[edit | edit source]

WingStreet's primary product is chicken wings, which are offered in a variety of styles including traditional, bone-out, and crispy bone-in wings. The wings are available in several flavors, including Buffalo Mild, Buffalo Medium, Buffalo Burnin' Hot, Spicy Garlic, Lemon Pepper, Hawaiian Teriyaki, Garlic Parmesan, and Honey BBQ.

In addition to wings, WingStreet also offers a variety of side dishes, including fries, cheese sticks, and breadsticks. Many WingStreet locations also offer Pizza Hut's full menu.

Reception[edit | edit source]

WingStreet has been generally well-received, with particular praise for its variety of flavors and the convenience of its co-location with Pizza Hut. However, the brand has also faced criticism for its pricing and for inconsistencies in product quality between different locations.
