Wissotzky Tea is an international, family-owned tea company based in Israel with offices in London and the United States. The company was founded by Kalman Wissotzky in Moscow, Russia in 1849. Wissotzky Tea is known for its wide range of products, including black tea, green tea, herbal tea, and fruit tea.

Kalman Wissotzky, the founder of Wissotzky Tea, was initially involved in the tea trade in Russia. In 1849, he established the Wissotzky Tea company in Moscow. The company quickly gained popularity and became the official tea supplier to the Russian royal court.

In the early 20th century, following the Russian Revolution, the Wissotzky family left Russia and established new operations in Israel. The company continued to grow and expand, eventually establishing offices in London and the United States.

Wissotzky Tea offers a wide range of tea products. These include:

  • Black tea: A type of tea that is more oxidized than green, oolong, and white teas. Black tea is generally stronger in flavor and contains more caffeine.
  • Green tea: A type of tea that is made from Camellia sinensis leaves and buds that have not undergone the same withering and oxidation process used to make oolong teas and black teas.
  • Herbal tea: A drink made from the infusion or decoction of herbs, spices, or other plant material in hot water. They do not usually contain caffeine.
  • Fruit tea: A type of herbal tea that contains fruit flavors, such as apple, cherry, and raspberry.
