Wonder Ball[edit | edit source]

The Wonder Ball is a type of candy product that has been popular in various forms since the late 1990s. It is a hollow, spherical chocolate ball, typically filled with small candies or toys. The Wonder Ball has been produced by several different companies over the years, including Nestlé and Frankford Candy.

History[edit | edit source]

The Wonder Ball was originally introduced in the United States by Nestlé in 1997. It was initially called the Magic Ball and contained small Disney-themed toys. However, due to safety concerns about the small toys posing a choking hazard, the Magic Ball was discontinued in 1997.

In 2000, Nestlé reintroduced the product as the Wonder Ball, this time with candy instead of toys inside. The Wonder Ball was popular throughout the early 2000s, but was discontinued again in 2004.

In 2016, the Wonder Ball was reintroduced by Frankford Candy. The new version of the Wonder Ball still contains candy, but also includes stickers in the packaging.

Product Details[edit | edit source]

The Wonder Ball is a hollow sphere of milk chocolate, approximately the size of a golf ball. Inside the ball are smaller, hard candies. The candies inside the Wonder Ball are typically shaped like characters from popular children's franchises, such as Disney, Nickelodeon, or Cartoon Network.

The Wonder Ball is packaged in a small, brightly colored box. Inside the box, the Wonder Ball is wrapped in foil. The box also contains stickers related to the theme of the candies inside the ball.

Reception and Impact[edit | edit source]

The Wonder Ball has been a popular product among children due to its combination of candy and collectible items. It has also been the subject of some controversy due to safety concerns about children choking on the small candies or toys inside the ball.

Despite these concerns, the Wonder Ball has had a significant impact on the candy industry. It has inspired a number of similar products from other companies, and has been a popular item for collectors.
