Wormed is a Spanish technical death metal band formed in Madrid in 1998. Wormed was founded by Phlegeton (vocals) and J. Oliver (guitar) in 1998. In 2003, Wormed released their debut album, Planisphaerium, which received critical acclaim within the death metal community. The album's complex song structures and intricate guitar work solidified the band's reputation as one of the most innovative acts in the genre.

After a brief hiatus, Wormed returned in 2013 with their highly anticipated second album, Exodromos.
