Wormed is a Spanish technical death metal band formed in Madrid in 1998. Wormed was founded by Phlegeton (vocals) and J. Oliver (guitar) in 1998. The band's early years were marked by several lineup changes, but they managed to release their first demo, Floating Cadaver in the Monochrome, in 1999. This demo showcased their technical prowess and established their signature sound.
In 2003, Wormed released their debut album, Planisphaerium, which received critical acclaim within the death metal community. The album's complex song structures and intricate guitar work solidified the band's reputation as one of the most innovative acts in the genre.
After a brief hiatus, Wormed returned in 2013 with their highly anticipated second album, Exodromos. This album further showcased the band's technical abilities and experimental approach to songwriting.
