As Prime Minister, Bufi faced the daunting task of leading Albania through a period of economic instability and political upheaval. His government worked to implement reforms aimed at transitioning the country towards a market economy and establishing the foundations for democratic governance. However, his time in office was short-lived, as political tensions and economic challenges continued to mount.
