Yoo-hoo
Yoo-hoo is a chocolate drink that was first created in the United States in 1928. It is a sweet, chocolate-flavored beverage that is often consumed chilled. Yoo-hoo is currently owned by Dr Pepper Snapple Group, a major producer of flavored beverages in North America.

Yoo-hoo was first created by Natale Olivieri in Garfield, New Jersey in 1928. Olivieri was a small grocery store owner who started bottling carbonated fruit drinks. He later developed the chocolate drink Yoo-hoo after noticing a demand for a chocolate beverage that would not spoil in warm weather. The name "Yoo-hoo" is said to have been inspired by the sound of a cow's moo.

Yoo-hoo is a non-carbonated, chocolate-flavored beverage. It is made from water, high fructose corn syrup, whey (from milk), and less than 2% of cocoa (alkali process), nonfat dry milk, natural and artificial flavors, sodium caseinate (from milk), corn syrup solids, calcium phosphate, dipotassium phosphate, palm oil, guar gum, xanthan gum, mono and diglycerides, salt, spice, soy lecithin, niacinamide (vitamin B3), sucralose, vitamin A palmitate, riboflavin (vitamin B2), and vitamin D3.
Popularity[edit | edit source]
Yoo-hoo has been a popular beverage in the United States for many decades. It is often associated with childhood nostalgia and has been referenced in various forms of media, including television shows and films.
