- York County is a county in the eastern part of the Commonwealth of Virginia, in the United States. It is located on the north side of the Virginia Peninsula, with the York River as its northern border. The county is rich in history, with ties to the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, and the early English settlers.

- As of the 2010 census, the population was 65,464. The racial makeup of the county was 78.4% White, 13.4% African American, 0.5% Native American, 2.9% Asian, 0.1% Pacific Islander, 1.2% from other races, and 3.6% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 5.7% of the population.
