Étienne Pariset
French physician and public health pioneer
Étienne Pariset (5 August 1770 – 3 July 1847) was a prominent French physician known for his contributions to public health and his role in the establishment of the Académie Nationale de Médecine. He was a pioneer in the field of psychiatry and made significant efforts to improve the conditions of the mentally ill.

Étienne Pariset was born in Sainte-Menehould, a commune in the Marne department of northeastern France.
