4,5-DHP-DMT


4,5-DHP-DMT is a psychedelic tryptamine and a structural analog of psilocin. It is also known as 4,5-dihydroxy-N,N-dimethyltryptamine. This compound is relatively unknown in the scientific literature and its effects on the human body are not well-studied.

4,5-DHP-DMT belongs to the tryptamine class of compounds, which are structurally derived from the essential amino acid tryptophan. The chemical structure of 4,5-DHP-DMT is characterized by a tryptamine backbone, which includes a bicyclic indole heterocycle attached at R3 to an amino group via an ethyl side chain. It also has two hydroxy groups at the 4 and 5 positions of the indole ring, and two methyl groups on the terminal nitrogen of the tryptamine backbone.
