8β-VE2

8β-VE2 is a synthetic, steroidal estrogen and a derivative of estradiol, specifically, the 8β-isomer of VE2. It is a potent and selective agonist of the ERβ and has been used in scientific research to study the function of the ERβ. 8β-VE2 has approximately 100-fold selectivity for the ERβ over the ERα.
