AP Diving
AP Diving is a British company that specializes in the design and manufacture of scuba diving equipment, particularly rebreather systems. The company was established in 1969 and has since become a leading name in the global diving industry.
History[edit | edit source]
AP Diving was founded in 1969 by Martin Parker and Nick Bovill, two experienced divers with a passion for improving the safety and efficiency of diving equipment. The company initially focused on the production of buoyancy compensator devices, but quickly expanded its product range to include a variety of other diving equipment.
In the 1990s, AP Diving began to specialize in the design and manufacture of rebreather systems. These devices recycle the user's exhaled gas, removing carbon dioxide and adding fresh oxygen, allowing divers to stay underwater for longer periods of time. AP Diving's rebreathers have been used in a variety of applications, from recreational diving to military and scientific research.
Products[edit | edit source]
AP Diving's product range includes a variety of rebreather systems, such as the Inspiration, Evolution, and Vision models. These systems are designed to be lightweight, compact, and easy to use, making them suitable for both recreational and professional divers.
In addition to rebreathers, AP Diving also produces a range of other diving equipment, including buoyancy compensators, dive computers, and dive lights. The company is known for its commitment to quality and innovation, and its products are used by divers all over the world.
Recognition[edit | edit source]
AP Diving has received numerous awards and accolades for its contributions to the diving industry. The company's rebreathers, in particular, have been recognized for their innovative design and superior performance.
