AWHONN
AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the health of women and newborns. It provides education, research, and advocacy to support nurses specializing in women's health, obstetrics, and neonatal care.

AWHONN was founded in 1969 as the Nurses Association of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (NAACOG). In 1993, the organization became independent and was renamed AWHONN.

AWHONN's mission is to empower and support nurses caring for women, newborns, and their families through research, education, and advocacy. The vision of AWHONN is to make a difference in the lives of women and newborns by promoting excellence in nursing practice.
