Aaron Craft (born February 12, 1991) is an American former professional basketball player. He is best known for his collegiate career at Ohio State University, where he played for the Ohio State Buckeyes men's basketball team.

Early Life and High School Career[edit | edit source]

Aaron Craft was born in Findlay, Ohio. He attended Liberty-Benton High School in Ohio, where he excelled in both basketball and football. During his high school basketball career, Craft was named the Ohio Division III Player of the Year and led his team to the state semifinals.

College Career[edit | edit source]

Craft played college basketball for the Ohio State Buckeyes men's basketball team from 2010 to 2014. He was known for his defensive prowess, earning multiple accolades including the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year award. Craft was also recognized for his academic achievements, being named to the Academic All-America team multiple times.

Freshman Year[edit | edit source]

In his freshman year, Craft quickly established himself as a key player for the Buckeyes. He played in all 37 games and was instrumental in the team's run to the NCAA Tournament.

Sophomore Year[edit | edit source]

Craft's sophomore year saw him continue to develop as a player. He was named to the All-Big Ten Defensive Team and helped lead the Buckeyes to the Final Four of the NCAA Tournament.

During his junior year, Craft was again a standout defensive player. He was named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year and earned a spot on the All-Big Ten First Team.

After graduating from Ohio State, Craft went undrafted in the 2014 NBA Draft. He played for the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Summer League and later signed with the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA G League. Craft also had stints playing professionally in Europe, including time with Szolnoki Olaj in Hungary and AS Monaco Basket in France.
