Albert Wojciech Adamkiewicz

Albert Wojciech Adamkiewicz was a Polish anatomist, physiologist and medical researcher. He is best known for describing the Adamkiewicz artery, a major blood vessel that supplies the spinal cord. He also made significant contributions to the understanding of the physiology of the spinal cord. He is considered as one of the pioneers in the field of spinal cord physiology.
