Allegra McEvedy
Allegra McEvedy (born 1970) is a British chef, broadcaster, and writer. She is known for her work in promoting healthy eating and sustainable food practices. Allegra McEvedy was born in 1970 in Hammersmith, London. She attended St Paul's Girls' School and later studied at the University of Westminster, where she earned a degree in Anthropology. McEvedy then trained at the Cordon Bleu Cookery School in London.

McEvedy's culinary career began in the early 1990s. She worked in several prestigious kitchens, including The River Café and The Groucho Club. In 1998, she co-founded the restaurant Leon, which focuses on healthy fast food. Leon has since grown into a successful chain with numerous locations.
