Anne Hegerty
Anne Hegerty (born 14 July 1958) is a British television quiz personality and one of the "chasers" on the ITV game show The Chase. She is known for her sharp intellect and formidable presence on the show.

Anne Hegerty was born in Westminster, London, England. She attended Edinburgh University, where she studied linguistics. Before her television career, Hegerty worked as a journalist and editor.

Hegerty's television career began when she appeared on the BBC quiz show Mastermind in 1980. She later appeared on other quiz shows, including Fifteen to One, Today's the Day, and Are You an Egghead?.
In 2010, Hegerty joined the cast of The Chase as one of the "chasers," a role that brought her widespread recognition. She is known on the show as "The Governess" and is celebrated for her extensive knowledge and quick wit.
